MEALTIMES

At Piccolo we work in collaboration with you and your therapy team to support positive mealtimes for your child and your family.

 Mealtime assessment can take place in your home, the community or early education setting. 

- your child's developmental, medical and feeding history

- your child's current skills and medical status

- aspects of your child's current mealtimes including;

•  The mealtime environment
• Routine
• Seating and positioning
• Sensory preferences
• Food/drink preferences
• Food/drink intake
• Oro-motor skills for managing food and fluids
• Swallow safety

 We will then work with you to develop a plan to meet your child's feeding goals.
